Sandicliffe is looking for an organised, customer-focused Service Desk Manager to join our Nottingham, Stapleford Car Dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our reception and customer service experience while working closely with the Service team to deliver a seamless journey for every customer.
About the Role
As our Front of House Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the dealership. You will oversee the daily operation of the front-of-house area, ensuring exceptional customer care, efficient coordination between departments, and a welcoming, professional environment at all times.
This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, along with the ability to stay calm, friendly, and efficient in a busy, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional customer service
- Manage customer check-in and reception processes
- Work closely with the Service team to coordinate bookings, handovers, and updates
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming showroom environment
- Support with administration, appointment scheduling, and service-related tasks
- Assist with customer complaints or escalations in a solution-focused manner
- Implement and maintain high customer service standards
- Support the wider dealership team to ensure a smooth customer journey
About You
- Experience in a customer-facing or front-of-house management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a small team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask confidently
- Proactive, professional, and solution-driven
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Automotive experience helpful but not essential
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences
