Panel Technician / Panel Beater

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and efficient Panel Beater / Panel Technician to join our growing team at our Accident Repair Centre in Leicester. Due to our recent expansion into a new workshop, we are hiring.

This role involves preparing and finishing vehicles to high industry standards within a modern, well-equipped workshop. You will have access to advanced tools and technology, along with ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Stripping and fitting panels
• Pulling dents using pin pullers, slide hammers, miracle pullers, jigs, and panel beating tools
• Carrying out minor and major filler work
• Performing jig work and blocking filler
• Working with plastic, steel, and aluminium panels
• Using basic body shop tools, including DA sanders, hand tools, primer guns, and spray guns
• Completing necessary documentation, including electronic QC sheets and photographic records

What We Are Looking For

• Recognised apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification (NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, IMI, ATA) is preferred, but we welcome candidates with strong on-the-job experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and attention to detail
• Basic IT skills for recording repairs and completing electronic documentation
• A full valid driving licence (with no more than six penalty points)
